Message A good place to start is with jspec engines. Their condition is not always regarded as optimal..."rolling the dice" is an accurate analogy.

This is one of those instances that if you have to ask how difficult it is, you probably aren't able to accomplish it. Sorry, that's just a fact. You picked the wrong car to try your first engine pull on (without knowing much about cars) - you're likely in way over your head (especially if you think the toughest part of this job is disconnecting/reconnecting the wiring harness). If you don't have about $2-3k available for someone else to do this job, your best bet is to sell it.
